About the Hall
The Easterton Village Hall is an ideal venue, with a total maximum capacity across the 2 rooms of 220 people, it is ideal for everything from seated wedding receptions to rambunctious children’s parties, exclusive business seminars, clubs or activities and many other functions too.
Set back from the main road, near St Barnabas Church, lies the village hall, children’s play area and recreation field, with exclusive parking and access to green space.
Built in the 1950’s the hall and field are held in trust for the village and is managed by a Board of Trustees.
The adjoining children’s play area is equipped and maintained by the Parish Council.
Main Hall
Facilities
- The Main Hall for up to 100 people seated or 150 standing, a stage, kitchen and bar area, level access and direct parking.
- The Garden Room, with a capacity of 50 seated or 70 standing. A smaller kitchenette, and sliding doors to the playing field and children’s play area. The Garden Room is modern and well equipped to be configured as a classroom or seminar venue.
- A fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockery for 100.
- Separate bar with glasses and jugs to cater for 100.
- Function tables and seating for 100.
- Separate Kitchen and Bar with serving hatch openings into the main hall.
- Level access to all facilities and private on-site parking.
- Wi-Fi
Garden Room
The current uses of Village Hall and Field
- Used for parties and events by many residents.
- Parish Council meetings.
- Annual fundraising events such as Easterton Country Fete, a Burns’ supper and the Remembrance Sunday curry lunch.

Modernisation of the Hall
In recent years, the hall has been modernised with the completion of 2 new extensions, a new Eco-roof, new store and toilets.
The hall is licensed for music and dancing:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 1am the next day
Saturday – 8am to 12 midnight
Sunday – 8am to 10. 30pm.
Alcohol sales are only permitted if a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) is obtained in advance.
Hirers must acknowledge the conditions of hire EVH Conditions of Hire.
Monday to Friday – 8am to 1am the next day
Saturday – 8am to 12 midnight
Sunday – 8am to 10. 30pm.

Hirers must acknowledge the conditions of hire EVH Conditions of Hire.
Some storage facilities may be available for hire for regular users of the hall.
